Edmond also went by the name of Edward.
While Edmond and his wife, Bridget, were both from Dooncaha in Tarbert, they settled in Ballygoughlin, Glin, Co. Limerick, where they raised a family. Edmond appears to have been the eldest son so it is surprising he did not inherit the family farm in Dooncaha. However, his mother, Ellen (née Moore) was from Glin so perhaps he inherited land from the Moore family.
