Thomas MORAN (caution: not verified)
( - )
A Bridget O'Hara of Clegna, Cootehall, daughter of Laurence O'Hara, married a Thomas Moran in Cootehall, Boyle, Co. Roscommon on 12 February 1883. It is likely that it was Bridget, daughter of our Laurence O'Hara and Ellen Meehen that Thomas above married but because this has not been verified I have added a caution.
Thomas was a merchant, according to his marriage record (1883), which also gives his address as Ballyfarnon and tells us his father, John, was a farmer. By the time of the birth of his son Thomas in 1890 he (i.e. the older Thomas) was a farmer (according to the younger Thomas's bith record).
