John Joseph (Jack) LOWNEY

Lowney researcher Mark Grace has told me the ancestral home of Jack's Lowney family was a place called Bolusk or Bollusky (also referred to as Ardnascaich or Ardnaskeagh) in the townland of Felane West, just east of Castletownbere. Mark has traced the Lowneys back as far as Timothy Lowney, born about 1810.
