Individual Details
James (Jimmy) LOVETT
(25 Apr 1886 - 29 Apr 1970)
Jimmy emigrated to New Zealand around 1902 with his sister Mary. Jimmy would have been only about 16 years of age and Mary about 12. They were going to New Zealand to live with their aunt Maggie who lived in Kaikoura. Their mother had died, their father had remarried, and the family appears to have been living in poverty in Ireland.
