According to a public family tree on the Ancestry website, Catherine's parents were Charles Mulloy/Molloy and Mary Kate McLaughlin who lived in Cryanstown, Knockvicar, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. However I have not been able to verify this.
At the time of the death of their daughter Maria in 1894 (aged 47) Maria and her husband, Laurence, were living in Donald's Hill in Cootehall.
