I am looking for information on a Margaret Culhane, born in Glin around 1832, whom I initially believed to be Margaret above, but this does not seem to be the case. This Margaret Culhane was a shopkeeper in Glin and her father was Michael a farmer in Glin. This Margaret's first husband was David Ruddle who died in 1872 aged 50, and her second husband was Maurice Stack from Ballybunion, Co. Kerry (whose father's name was Thomas), whom she married in 1878. It appears she and David had no children but she and Maurice had one child, a daughter nmaed Hanora who was born in 1880 but who died of pneumonia aged three. Margaret died in 1929 aged 97 and, according to a newspaper obituary, was mourned by her nieces Sr. Ursula Culhane of Glasgow and Sr. Carthage Culhane of Kilkenny, along with several Culhane, Dillane, Normoyle and Stack relatives. I believe Margaret was related to Margaret Culhane above but I have been unable to etablish how exactly they may have been connected.
