From my research it appears John Jim was a son of James Hanrahan of Kilbaha and his wife, Ellen, whose maiden name may have been Sheahan. However I have been unable to prove the connection.
A baptism record has been located (on www.irishgenealogy.ie) for a John Hanrahan, son of James Hanrahan and Ellen Sheahan of Kilbaha, who was baptised on 12 February 1863. Baptismal sponsors were Michael Hanrahan and Margaret Cunningham. Could this record could relate to John Jim above? If it does, then we know John Jim had the following siblings:
Patrick who was baptised on 2 October 1864 with baptismal sponsors Patrick Sheahan and Jane Kennelly
Jane who was baptised on 24 September 1865 with sponsors John Shine and Mary Hanrahan
