Mary Frances Pauline (Sr. Pauline) LAVIN

Sr. Pauline was a missionary nun in the Sisters of Mercy order and initally went by the name Sr. Mary Frances Paula. She taught in San Bernadino, California for nine years in the 1960s, and then in Kenya for three years in the 1970s. She later returned to Roscommon where she taught career guidance.
Sr. Pauline was a talented artist and appeared on Gay Byrne's 'The Late Late Show' on RTE to speak about her art.
