Michael O'SULLIVAN
(Abt 3 Oct 1884 - Abt 1900)
According to a family source, Michael died at the age of 15 following an accident on the farm in Glynn involving a horse. However, I have come across the death certificate of a Michael Sullivan of Glynn who died of pneumonia in Glynn on 8 May 1897, aged 11. The informant was his mother, Mary. Although our Michael would have been 12 years old in May 1897 I think it likely that this death certificate is that of our Michael. Of course there could have been another Sullivan family with similarly named family members living in Glynn at that time.
It is not known for certain where Michael is buried but it is assumed that burial took place in the family plot in Donoughmore Cemetery in Stuake, Co. Cork.
