Grace (Sr. Berchmans) JOYCE

Grace entered the Loreto convent, becoming Sr. Berchmans. In early December 1928, at the age of 19, she left Dublin for India, travelling with two Loreto companions, one of whom was the future Mother Teresa. After a voyage of about a month they arrived in India and made their way to the Loreto novitiate in Darjeeling. Sr. Berchmans lived in India for the rest of her life.
