Individual Details

Edmund Thomas Joseph EGAN

(1874 - 3 Oct 1932)

After his marriage in 1902 Edmund lived at 34 Coleherne Road, Kensington, London. It appears that Edmund and his wife, Maud, separated as by 1929 they were living at separate addresses: Edmund at 57 New Cavendish St., Marylebone, London (where he lived for the remainder of his life), and Maud at Bolton Gardens, Kensington. Edmund's will tells us that probate was granted to George Eric Palmer Edwards, husband of his youngest sister, Walburga.

Edmund and two of his brothers, Herbert and Philip, are buried in the same grave in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kensal Green, London. The grave is located near the Belgian War Memorial, and very close by is the grave of their uncle Rev. Edmund Egan.
