George Fry

George immigrated with his brother-in-law William Torrey. They probably came on the "Charles" or the "Hopewell." George's will was written 26 Jul 1676 and probated 30 Nov 1678. His family was closely allied to the Torrey family.
"GEORGE, Weymouth, weaver, freem. 1651; in his will of 26 July 1676, names d. Ruth Torrey, w. of Jonathan, d. Naomi Yeales, d. Bethia Reed, made James Smith, senr. of W. and Timothy Yeales of Boston excors. He testif. in Mar. 1674, that he kn. the Torreys, William and Samuel at Combe St. Nicholas, Co.
