It is possible that this John Langdon was the one born in 1682 and who was the son of Philip Langdon and Mary. Philip died in 1697 and there is a suggestion that Philip Langdon and the elder John Langdon were brothers. That could account for the elder John Langdon mentioning Mary Langdon Proctor in his will. Still need to figure that out.
