William owned land in both Lynn and Boston. William may have died in Boston, although his residence at the time was Lynn.

William Ivory, a proprietor of Lynn, Mass., in 1638, d. in 1652, the inventory of his estate, amounting to £135. 9s. 10 d. , being filed 26 Mar. 1653. His will was declared invalid, the Court appointed his widow Ann administratrix, and directed that of his estate his son Thomas should have £20 at 21, dau. Ruth Bailey 40s., and daus. Lois and Sarah £10 each at 18 or marriage, the residue to go to the widow. (Essex Co. Court Files.) He m. abt. 1632 Ann , b. abt.1608, perhaps dau. of Thomas South of Lynn. Children : 1. Ruth, b. abt. 1632; m. abt. 1649 Theophilus Bailey of Lynn. 2. Thomas, b. abt. 1635; m. 17 May 1660 Mary Davis, and had issue. 3. Lois, b. abt. 1637 ; m. 10 May 1656 Capt.
