Thomas Doggett (sometimes spelled with one "g" and/or one "t") emigrated from Great Yarmouth in 1637 He was listed as a servant to Thomas Olliver. He held several offices in Marshfield. He was married three times. The name of his first wife is not known, but she died in August, 1642. He married Elizabeth Humphrey Fry, who was the widow of William Fry in 1643. His third marriage was to another widow, Joan Chillingsworth.
