Percival Lowell (Lowle) was a gentleman and merchant of Kington Seymour and Portbury, Somerset, England. He was a successful businessman before emigrating in 1639. He had served as a church warden in Portbury as well as being bailiff of the manor of Portbury. He married Rebecca Goddale about 1599. They had ten children, two of whom died in infancy. The family immigrated to Newbury where they were among to first settlers. Percival Lowell is the ancestor of the Boston Brahmin Lowells.
