Individual Details
Israel Packard
(27 April 1680 - )
He seems to still be living in 1725 during the probate of his father's estate as he is one of the signers on the probate records that was still ongoing in 1725. Nearly all internet sources having him dying in 1723 just before his father, but that clearly seems to be an error.

Notes
Marriage
Israel Packard married in 1735 Susannah Field who was perhaps the widow of Richard Field. Marriage performed by Mr. Daniel Perkins. Some records give the marriage as 1733 -- and these are records transcriptions -- some say 1733, some 1735. Not at all sure about the Susannah Waldo Field -- she may have died in 1730 -- but looking further into that there seems to be good evidence that she lived into th 1730's. Susannah and Richard Field's daughter Ruth did marry Israel Packard, Jr. in 1737, so perhaps it is that father and son married mother and daughter.Endnotes
