Individual Details
Lydia Townsend
(1630 - 8 January 1687/88)
She could be from a number of different Townsend families, but nothing is known for certain. Prior to her marriage, Lydia was mentioned by John Mills of Boston in his October 1651 will as "a servant to Mr.Rucke", and she was bequeathed 40 shillings for her pains. This Mr. Rucke was the next door neighbor of Thomas Townsend and it is possible that Lydia was the daughter of Thomas.
