John Abbott
(2 March 1648 - 19 March 1721)
John resided with his father in the garrison house in Andover, Massachusetts. He was a man of good judgment and executive ability, and was employed in town business, often as a selectman, and was deputy to the General Court in 1701. When the church was organized in the South Parish, in 1711, he was chosen deacon.
