Marion Earl Beaverson, son of Earl C., and Ilva Snyder Beaverson, was born in Clinton Township, Fulton County, Ohio, April 8,1924, and departed this life at the Wauseon Hospital, Sept. 1, 1945, having attained the age of 21 years, 4 months and 23 days. He resigned his will to God at the age of 18, expressing his desire to follow in the footsteps of his Saviour, to which call he remained obedient until death. He leaves to mourn: parents, two sisters and three brothers, Harvey, Rosemary, Jon, Eileen, and James. Also grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. Services were held at the Reformed Mennonite Church, Lauber Hill, Tuesday, Sept. 4, 1945, at 3:00 p.m.

Twilight Prayer
Dear Shepherd, kind, who in the older day; Counted with care the flocks that reached the fold, Who saved the one that, lingering, lost the way And would have perished on the mountain cold: Hear Thou my prayer and guide my steps aright-For I am lost in all-surrounding gloom-Please, Gentle Shepherd, lead me to the light And guard me safely all the way back Home. Dear Shepherd, kind, my footsteps ave wandered far Away from paths the innocent have trod; My blinded eyes no longer see the light That beckons, guides, and points the way to God.
