Alliman, Sarah (Wyse), was born east of Wayland, Iowa, April 1, 1886; died in her sleep at her home in Wayland, Iowa, April 12, 1970; aged 84 y. 11 d. On March 17, 1917, she was married to Dan Alliman, who died in 1964. Surviving are 3 children (Gilbert, Francis-Mrs. Paul Miller, and Wayne), 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Viola-Mrs. Dan G. Widmer). She was a member of the Sugar Creek Church, where funeral services were held April 14, with Vernon S. Gerig officiating; interment in the nearby cemetery.
