Married first on 29 Nov. 1664 in Salisbury to Abigail Severance. Married second to Sarah --. Served on Grand Jury in 1667 and 1668. On a jury in 1672. Captured by Indians 28 June 1689, he escaped only to fall victim 7 May 1696. Children by first wife Abigail -- (1) Jonathan, b. 12 April 1666. (2) Ebenezer, b. 25 Feb. 1670. (3) Abigail, b. 12 April, 1672. (4) Sarah, m. Nathaniel Folger of Nantucket. Children by second wife Sarah --, (5) Deborah, b. 15 August, 1683. Married 26 October 1704 to John Roberts. (6) Benjamin b. 28 Oct. 1688. Died young.
