Was a Gold minor and birth in above data (may 1986) In some papers committing William to a mental instituion a remark was made to the effect, that he had been hit on the head by a limb falling out of a tree. THis apparently caused him to chase several people with a cutting utensils (ax), far out ideas on religion and not able to remember other remarks. He worked with Peter Thompson and Charles O Barker up in Elk Creek country just west of the divide from Lewis Co. Peter and Charles had homesteads near the turn of the century.
