Leah Seeley Duley

Leah and Valentine went to Mt Shasta, California to homestead land with Marc and Dolly Barker about the time WWI broke out. Leah was the cook in Mt Shasta in a logging camp or resturant of her own. Erma (who?) remembers of Leah telling of it. Story in Valentine & with Sue Barker Stories in Book of Remembrance. Broken information follows: Erma Duley Quimby in mar 1981 says that: Caroline and Albert Seeley were sister and brother and aunt and uncle to Leah & Harold. Carrie and Nettie Seeley (sisters_ married brothers, Charlie and ?. Albert's wife was Irene--daugther was margaret. One Albert Duley born 26 apr 1848 in NY of Tualatin, husband of Ann Janett died 28 March 1928 (death certificate State Reg #61, Local Reg #, Buried in Tualatin 28 mar 1928--ALbert's father's name was Abrom Duley) Historial: By Erma, daugther of Harold Henry Duley, says that Hal or Harold and Ada and family and Ralph and Mildred Parsons went by coverd wagon either with or after Leah and Val Barker to Mt Shasta when Marc Barker called.
