3. I need help clearing up some confusion about Mary Peabody Death Eames and her husband Samuel Eames. There were two Samuels extant in the same area at the same time. Was Mary the only wife of Samuel Eames and thereby the only mother of his children? Brian C. Page Response: Mr. Brian C. Page asks in question #3 about Mary Peabody, sister of Isaac Peabody who married John Death (Dearth) of Framingham. According to J.H. Temple's History of Framingham, after the demise of her husband J.D. she married Samuel Eames (1664-1737). There is also a reference to a Samuel Eames Jr. who lived in the town of Framingham at that time and who I suspect was the son. C. Newton Peabody, MD, Framingham, Massachusetts
