Andy Leo Watts, 87, a resident of Harrison for 25 years, passed away Wednesday, June 11 (2008) in Little Rock.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 15, at Holt Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 16, at First Baptist Church in Harrison with the Rev. Robert Shaddox and the Rev. Rob Davis officiating.

Burial will be at 12 p.m. Monday, June 16, at East Lawn Cemetery at Marshall. Pallbearers will be Donnie Watts, Mike Watts, Neal Mays, Noel Mays, Buck Mays III, Doug Lambert, Jack Horton and Jason Laprasinkas. Honorary pallbearers include his senior mens Sunday school class, John Taylor, Jack Bradford, Bob Bradford, George Bradford and Dr. Tom Leslie.

Leo was born at Leslie, on Aug. 19, 1920, a son of Albert Lannie and Verna (Redman) Watts. He married Mary Frankie Bradford on April 26, 1940. He served two years in the U.S. Navy during World War II, 16 months of which was in the South Pacific. Following World War II, he returned to Marshall and was employed as vice president and cashier of the Citizens Bank for nine years. He was then employed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, retiring as manager of the Little Rock office after 25 years. He was an ordained deacon of the First Baptist Church in Harrison.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Virginia.

Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Mary Watts; two daughters and their husbands, Jaqueta and Dale Isbell and Freda and Brian Keller; four grandchildren, Scarlett and her husband Jason Laprasinkas, Andy Isbell, Dawn Keller and Michelle and her husband, Doug Lambert; two great-granddaughters, Kendle Lee and Jamie Marie Lambert; and his brother, Fred Watts.
