Marilyn Sue Thomas, formerly of Pittsburg, Kansas, went to be with the Lord just before 9pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
She was born June 26, 1937 at her home in rural Pittsburg to Joe and Susie Azamber (deceased).
She is survived by her husband of 60+ years, Robert H. (Bob) Thomas of the home. Children: Brenda Jo (John) Dantico, Florence, AZ, Kathy Sue (Douglas) Stadt, Florence, AZ and Tracy Ann (Douglas) Griggs of Strongsville, OH.
She is also survived by her sister Joyce Marie (Jim deceased) Welsh of Hominy, OK and brother-in-law Charles R. (Wanda) Thomas of Burke, VA.
Grandchildren are Justin D. (Jillian) Stadt, Lindsay M. Griggs, Amy E. (Nicholas) Bracken and Emily C. Griggs. Great granddaughter Aurora Lynn Stadt and many very loved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Marilyn Sue will be held on May 20, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Kansas. The church is located at Washington and Elm Street.
The service will begin at 11 am led by Mike Hart.
Lunch for all will follow in the church fellowship hall.
Gravesite services were held on March 27, 2017 at San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms, Queen Creek, Arizona led by Pastor Mike Bishop of Harvest Church - Anthem, Florence, Arizona.
