Paul P. Smith, Sr., age 78 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 28, 2016 at home.
The son of John Paul Smith and Lois Wilkins was born December 23, 1937 in Los Angeles, California.
Paul worked as a postal supervisor in California before retiring and was a longtime member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Harrison.
He loved to read and spend time with his family. Paul loved the Lord and going to church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and mother of his children, Anita Sarah Smith; two children, Chris Chambers and Holly Miland and a sister, Patricia Jane Ann Smith.
Paul is survived by his wife, Veda Jo Smith; his sons, Paul P. Smith, Jr., and wife Robin, Michael Smith and David Smith and wife Sherri; two daughters, Margaret Harman and husband Brian and Heather Drewry; a daughter-in-law; Yolanda Chambers; two sisters, Mary Mancini and Judy K. Steen and husband Scot; 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him and will mourn his passing.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Heath Kirkpatrick officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services beginning at noon.
