This metal marker was left by Ellenora Taylor Tomlinson at the Baker Hollow Cemetery, Searcy County, Arkansas. There is no proof that he is actually buried there. She just wanted to make sure he was remembered.

Parents William Edward Bill Taylor and Elizabeth Betsy Allen.
Spouse Elizabeth Louisa Allen married 12 July 1854 DeKalb Co Tennessee.
Children: Tennessee Annie, William E, Hezekiah Carr Hez, David Carroll Jr.
Killed during the Civil War by Jayhawkers. David was home to see his new son David Jr. They tied him to the tail of a horse and set the horse running dragging him. He was found on the road to Marshall 2-3 miles from home. Ardia Taylor's book "The Taylors"
