Death

Alta Floe Shelton, 91, Topeka, died Sunday, July 3, 1994, at a Topeka nursing home.
She was born Dec. 15, 1902, in Missouri, the daughter of Elijah William and Priscilla Allafar Swinney Morrison, and spent most of her life in Topeka. She had worked at the Seymour Packing Plant before she died.
She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was married to Estes Lloyd Shelton on Aug. 21, 1921, in Norton. He died in June 1977. She also was preceded in death by a son, Walter Shelton, and a daughter, Elzora Miller.
Survivors include five daughters, Frances A. McGuire, Jean Radefeld, and Virginia McPeek, all in Topeka; Jessie L. Dreher, Wamego, and Patricia C. Reed, Centralia, Wash.; 22 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Davison Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery.
