Death
Roy Dakan, formerly of Castle Rock, dies at Rawlins, WyomingFuneral services were to be held Friday morning at Rawlins, Wyo., for Roy Dakan, a former resident of Castle Rock. Interment will be here in Cedar Hill cemetery Friday afternoon.
Mr. Dakan was employed in Douglas County by the Frink Creamery Co., and moved to Wyoming in the late twenties, according to friends here. He married Martha Strouss, a Douglas countyan, who with a daughter, Mrs. Cleo East of Rawlins, survives Mr. Dakan. Mrs. Dakan is in poor health but is expected to make the trip to Castle Rock Friday. He was a cousin of Frank Dakan and Mrs. Ida Knowles, both of Douglas County. Graveside serives will precede burial Friday afternoon at a time to be set later. Andrews Funeral Home have charge of arrangements for burial.
