Death
Obituary: Mary Lou Hoffpauir Knobloch, 77, a native of Estherwood and resident of Thibodaux, died at 4:53 p.m. July, 7 2005. Visitation will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Bernard L. Knobloch; sons Bernard Knobloch Jr. and Jimmy Knobloch; grandchildren Mary Schwartzenburg, Nikki Knobloch, Katie Knobloch, Frannie Knobloch, James Knobloch, Emily Knobloch, Andre Dupont, and Allison Viator. She is also survived by the family pet, Luci, the luckiest dog in the world. She was preceded in death by her parents, ' Judge N. Smith Hoffpauir and Lucille Hoffpauir and son F. Smith "Smitty" Knobloch. She was an avid gardener and lay minister at St. Genevieve Cathollic Church, a devoted friend and an exceptional grandmother. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Edward Douglas White Catholic High School and St. Genevieve Catholic School. Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Endnotes
