CROWLEY - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at St. Michael Catholic Church for Violet Hoffpauir Regan, 77, who died at 11:01 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2000, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
The Rev. Louis Richard, pastor of St. Michael Catholic Church, will officiate at the services. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters and their husbands, Barbara R. Ardoin and James M. Ardoin Jr. of Salt Lake City, Rebecca R. Selig and Roland N. Selig Jr. of Baton Rouge and Brenda R. Munoz and Clyde Munoz of Sugarland, Texas; two sons and their wives, Thomas Regan and Suzanne Regan and W. Linus Regan and Anne Regan, all of Crowley; 13 grandchildren, Michelle R. Popp, Timothy Regan, Ashley Regan, Lindsay Regan, James M. Ardoin III, Stacey Ardoin, Robert Selig, Jennifer Regan, Jeffrey Regan, Adam Regan, Emily Regan, Trevor Munoz and Taylor Munoz.
Mrs. Regan was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Mike and Alice Morgan Hoffpauir; her husband, Bernard E. Regan; and one sister, Iris H. Mier.
In 1994, Mrs. Regan along with her late husband, Bernard E. Regan, were named Grandparents of the Year for St. Michael Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Acadia Parish Farm Bureau Women's Committee, Beta Sigma Phi and the Meridian Rosary Group.
Pallbearers will be James M. Ardoin III, Timothy Regan, Adam Regan, Robert Selig and Christopher Popp.
Visitation hours will be observed from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Wednesday until time of the services.
Geesey Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley is in charge of the arrangements.
