Funeral services for Mrs. Walter (Myrtie Edith) Hoffpauir, 87, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 17, in Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Jimmy Lormand will officiate. Burial will be in Ebenezar Cemetery. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Saturday. Mrs. Hoffpauir died at 3:35 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 1999, in a local hospital. A native of Ebenezar, she had lived in the Lake Charles area since 1950. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include two daughters, JoAnn Gutekunst of Lake Charles and Patricia Harris of Sulphur; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
