SULPHUR -- Funeral services for Hance Marion Linscombe, 83, will be at 11 a.m. today, April 23, in Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
The Rev. Leon Boggs will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery. Visitation is from 8:30 a.m.
Mr. Linscombe died Tuesday, April 21, 1998, in Sulphur.
A native of Indian Bayou, he resided in Sulphur. He retired from Cities Service in 1964. He was owner of the Red Barn Cafeteria, which he started in 1972, and owner of Lyons Auto Sales in Sulphur. He was a member of the Sulphur Lions Club and the Odd Fellows Club. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Guidry Linscombe; one son, Garland Linscombe of Sulphur; two daughters, Gayle Linscombe Tib and Sheila Vincent, both of Sulphur; one stepson, Kenny Phipps of Sulphur; one brother, Jack Linscomb of Sulphur; one sister, Tessie Hoffpauir of Crowley; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
