CROWLEY - Funeral services for Edith Hoffpauir, 82, of Crowley, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, at Duhon Funeral Home in Crowley. The Rev. Truman Stagg will officiate at the services. Interment will be in Indian Bayou Cemetery in Indian Bayou. A resident of Crowley, Edith Hoffpauir passed away at 4:40 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, at American Legion Hospital in Crowley. Survivors include four brothers, Rufus F. Hoffpauir, Asa A. Hoffpauir and Wilson R. Hoffpauir, all of Crowley, and Albert J. Hoffpauir, of Deland, Fla.; and one nephew, Hazen H. Hoffpauir, of New Orleans. Ms. Hoffpauir was preceded in death by her husband, Albert N. Hoffpauir; her parents, Rufus and Francis Hoffpauir; and three sisters, Eunice Faulk, Irene Hoffpauir and Beulah Sims. Visitation hours were observed from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. Friday. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. today with viewing until time of the services. Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley is in charge of the arrangements. (Daily Advertiser, 28 Dec 2002)
