Funeral services for Adeline Morgan Bean, 65, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
The Rev. Richard Hoffpauir will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery.
Visitation is 9 a.m.-10 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. Monday.
Mrs. Bean died at 10:10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2000, in a Lake Charles hospital.
She was a native of Indian Bayou and had lived the past 64 years in Sulphur. She was a graduate of Sulphur High School. She had worked with Gulf States Utilities and United Gas Company. She also served as a secretary with Calcasieu Parish School Board and E.K. Key Elementary School, retiring after 30 years of service. She was a member of Henning Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon Bean Jr. of Sulphur; two sons, Neal Bean and Scotty Bean, both of Sulphur; one grandchild; and two step-grandchildren.
