Abshire, 99, of Westlake will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, in Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Timothy Creel will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Abshire died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999 in Orange, TX. A native of Indian Bayou, she had been a resident of Westlake for 59 years. She was a member of the Westlake Pentacostal Church. Survivors include one son, David Abshire of Westlake; two daughters, Barbara Tisdale of Bridge City, TX and Trevelyn Russo of Buna, TX; one sister, India Lou Busby of Westlake, six grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
