Burial
Obituary: The funeral service for Winnie B. Broussard, 95, of Sulphur, will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 in Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Father Jim Winiarski will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 3 p.m to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m., and resume on Saturday, February 20 from 9 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Broussard passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in a Sulphur care center. She was met at the gates of Heaven by her husband of 44 years, Mr. Advy Broussard; her parents, Lennis and Laura Hoffpauir; and one brother, Walter Hoffpauir. Mrs. Broussard was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church and loved to travel the United States and other countries as well. Survivors include one son, Joseph Broussard of Sulphur; one daughter, Barbara Dean Hill of Port St. Lucie, Florida; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
