(Beaumont Enterprise 5 Jan 2001) Rex Hoffpauir Sr., 62, of Vidor died Jan. 3, 2001, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor with burial at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the church.
A native of Beaumont, he lived in Vidor 27 years and was a retired Beaumont Fire Department captain.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Hoffpauir of Vidor; sons, Rex Hoffpauir Jr. of Evadale and David Hoffpauir and Mike Hoffpauir, both of Vidor; daughter, Lori Dodge Gross of Lumberton; brother, Ralph Hoffpauir of Spurger; and 12 grandchildren.
