Francis C. Hoffpauir, 79, died Monday, Sept. 5, 2005.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Western Hills United Methodist Church. Burial: 11 a.m. Saturday in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Port Arthur. Visitation: Open visitation Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials: The family requests donations to Shriner Children's Hospital or Western Hills Methodist Church.
Francis Hoffpauir retired as an engineer from General Dynamics after 33 years of service, and was owner of Hoffpauir Electronics. He was a graduate and taught physics for several years at the University of Texas. Mr. Hoffpauir was a member of Scottish Rite, and was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Tabernacle Lodge #1195 AF&AM, Ridglea Lodge #485 R.A.M. and Ridglea Lodge #400 R.& S.M. He was a member of the Moslah Shrine Flying Fez. He was a member of York Rite College #154. He was also a charter member of Western Hills United Methodist Church and a member of the Inspiration Sunday School Class. Survivors: Wife of 52 years, Rosemary Hoffpauir; daughters, Debra Cluka and husband, David, Kim Smith and husband, Larry; son, Greg Hoffpauir; granddaughter, Robyn Cluka; sisters, Libby Conant and husband, George, Pat Roach and husband, Kenneth; numerous other family; and many friends.
