Vernelle Morgan was the fourth grade teacher at Indian Bayou School. She was the favorite teacher of most students. She did not marry. Retired, lives in Indian Bayou. She also taught art in summer "Bible School". Most of the drawings of the Indian Bayou Church were sketched by Vernelle.
