Henry Charles Burke

(25 Dec 1881 - 30 Apr 1936)

"Henry was affectionately known as Uncle Henry. Henry and Molly were remembered for the parties that they held for the young people at their home. They would serve pralines, popcorn and many other goodies, hang the coal ooil lanterns outside for light, and the teens would play games such as A-Tiskit-A-Tasket, Drop the Handkerchief, and more. At the parties end, usually around 9:00 to 9:30, Aunt Molly or Uncle Henry would walk the young people home if they lived in the neighborhood." Debby Foreman Simon
