Obituary: July 21, 1956 - Nov 8, 2013 NEWALLA Esther Ann Duroy, 57, of Newalla, passed away after long and numerous battles with cancer November 8, 2013, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Larry and Clonia Hoffpauir on July 21, 1956, sister of David Hoffpauir, Karen Read, Sharon Hoffpauir, Regina Zevely, and Jan Hoffpauir. On March 17, 1976, she married Brent Duroy, and together, they raised two children, Anna Randels and Jared Duroy. Esther was a devout Christian, teacher, and role model within the Little Axe community. Her love for music and pianist abilities enriched the lives of many through church worship. Having taught for 22 years, many students have come to love and cherish her as a favorite grade school teacher. She was a loving and devoted wife of 35 years, a caring mother to two children, and a grateful and passionate Nana of two. Her grandchildren were her strength, as she will always be remembered as a fighter. Visitation will be held at Sunny Lane Funeral Home on November 13, 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Choctaw Church of the Nazarene on November 14, 2013, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City. Sunny Lane Funeral Home will be handling funeral arrangements.
