Burial
Obituary: Funeral service* for Andrew P. Browning. 85-year-old retired farmer. were held yesterday at 4:30 p. m. at the Rabenhorst funeral home, with interment following In St Joseph Catholic cemetery. Dr. J. Richard Spann, pastor of the First Methodist, church, officiated.Mr. Browning, who leaves 55 direct descendants, died at 11:15 p. m. Saturday at the home of his daughter. Mrs. L B. Chaney, 709 St Anthony street He made his home with Mrs. Chaney.
His wife,the former Mary Rose Bentley, died in 1919.
Surviving are five sons. A. A. Browning. Frank Browning. H. R. Browning. C. J. Browning and J. M. Browning, "all of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Mrs. Chaney and Mrs. Elmo Carmen a of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Joseph Rozas of Chataignier; 33 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
