Obituary: Ella Russell "Aline" Young a resident of Pine Grove died at 9:22 AM on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. She died after an extended illness in her home. She was born August 22, 1929, in Pensacola, FL and was 86 years of age. She loved Jesus, gardening, reading, Christian music, and her family. She is survived by her husband, L.B. Young, Pine Grove; daughters, Rebecca Young Leake, Pine Grove, and Penny Young Dyess Kessler, Minneapolis, MN; sons, Russell Wayne Young, Pine Grove, and Stephan Lane Young, Denham Springs; grandchildren, Shari Michelle Leake Wilhelm, Oceanside, CA, Brandi Lynn Leake, Valley Falls, KS, Amy Elizabeth Dyess, Seattle, WA, Michael Wayne Dyess, Baton Rouge, Garrett Lane Young, Denham Springs, and Clay Nesbit, Jr., Denham Springs; great grandchildren, Tyler Dawson Wilhelm, Oceanside, CA, Hannah SueAnn Wilhelm, Oceanside, CA, and Becky Aline-Louise Twombly, Valley Falls, KS. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Lee Russell and Helen Hoffpauer Russell; sisters, Ruby Russell Metrojon Freestone and Donnie Russell Sheets, and Evelyn Russell and her brothers, Joseph (Red) Russell, Jr. and Edward Russell. Visitation at Montpelier Baptist Church from 6 PM until 8 PM on Friday and from 9 AM until religious services at 1 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Services conducted by Rev. Rusty Durand. Interment: Montpelier Cemetery, Montpelier. Special thanks to Montpelier Baptist Church family and Bridgeway Hospice, especially nurses, Kathleen, Shannon, Celeste, and nurse assistants, Brandi and Dona. They were a tremendous source of Christian comfort and support to the family.
