Burial
Obituary: Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Cathedral tomorrow at 10 a.m. for Mrs. Wilfred H. Landry, (Nee Katherine Sommers), 76, who died at the Methodist Hospital, Houston, Sunday at 2:57 a.m. Interment will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Ralph W. Landry and Wilbert H. Landry, both of Lafayette; and two grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. tonight in the First National Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Landry, a native of Holland, had been a resident of Lafayette for the past 74 years. She was the daughter of the late Gehardt Sommers and Lena Wilkins.Endnotes
