Death

Obituary: Judy Hoffpauir Schafer passed away Monday, August 18, 2008, at her home in LaVergne, Tenn. At her request she will be cremated. She was a native of Sulphur. She lived a large portion of her life in Pennsylvania. In her later years she moved to Tennessee to live with her daughter in LaVergne. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Schafer of LaVergne; a son, Shane Schafer and wife JoAnn of Schwendville, Pa; three sisters, Billie Endsley and husband Donnie of Kingwood, Texas, and their children, Curt Endsley and wife Sherry of Clearlake, Texas, Pam Clark of Alexandria, Kim Peters of Kingwood and Mark Endsley of Kingwood, Mary Ann Beazley and husband John of Breaux Bridge and their children, Angela Schaffe and husband Gene of Breaux Bridge, and Greg Beazley and wife Kim of Breaux Bridge, Cindy Logan and husband Danny of Midland, Texas, and their children Anthony Logan and wife Martica of Midland, and Brenna Logan of Midland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maxie Curtis and Lillian Hoffpauir of Sulphur. (Lake Charles American Press.)
