GUEYDAN - Funeral serv-ces will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2004, at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church for Marie B. Broussard, 85, who died Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at her home in Gueydan. Interment will be in Gueydan Cemetery. The Rev. Mitchell Guidry will be officiating the services. She is survived by three sons, Rodney Broussard and wife, Shirley, Sheldon Broussard and wife, Darlene, and Robert Broussard and wife, Brenda, all of Gueydan; two daughters, Cecile Linscomb, of Lake Arthur, and Aline and her husband, Wayne Martin, of Gueydan; a brother, Lawrence Boudreaux, of Morse; two sisters, Eunice Hoffpauir, of Crowley, and Velma Chiasson, of Nunez; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aldis Broussard; a grandson, Craig Broussard; two brothers, Ollie Boudreaux and Lovelace Boudreaux; and a sister, Thelma Dorr.
