Obituary: Funeral services will be held at Church Point United Pentecostal Church Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 1:00 PM for Earvin D. (Tut) Arceneaux, 79, who passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at 9:00 PM at his residence in Church Point. Survivors include his wife of 59 years Mildred Boudreaux Arceneaux of Church Point; one daughter, Mona and her husband Gerald Hoffpauir of Church Point; two grandchildren David Hoffpauir and wife Kim, and Brooke Hoffpauir Jeansonne and husband Shawn; Three great grandchildren Cullen David Hoffpauir, Tyler Jeansonne and Lance Cates. Tut is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Fannie Arceneaux; one brother, Harvey Arceneaux; two sisters, Beatrice A. Smith and Vernie A. Smith. Tut was also preceded in death by his beloved pet Chihuahua "Taco". Mr. Arceneaux worked for many years at Gianfala & Son Oilfield Construction. He loved camping with his family, fishing and gardening. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 4:00 PM till 9:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. On Wednesday, visitation will be from 9:00 AM till time of services at the Church Point United Pentecostal Church in Church Point. Burial will be in the Maxie Community Cemetery in Maxie under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home, L.L.C. of Church Point. Please send personal condolences to www.duhonfuneralhome.com.
